The smell sense of a mosquito is more complex than previously believed, according to a new study that was published in Thursday's issue of Cell.

Additionally, it might help to clarify how this bothersome insect can locate you at a BBQ or in your bedroom and pierce your skin with its proboscis. The study's co-author is neuroscientist Meg Younger from Boston University.
