Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov to visit India: What to expect

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will come to India on Thursday on a two-day official visit, as the two countries look for ways to maintain trade and other relations despite the ongoing Ukraine crisis.

Lavrov arrived in China on Wednesday to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of countries bordering Afghanistan. He is expected to arrive in New Delhi on Thursday evening after concluding his visit to China.
