Samajwadi Party picks new constituency for Swami Prasad Maurya, unveils fresh list of 15

Former UP minister Swami Prasad Maurya, who defected from the BJP to join the Samajwadi Party last month, will contest the 2022 assembly elections from Fazilnagar constituency.
This despite the fact that he has been representing the adjoining Padrauna seat for three straight terms since 2007. Maurya 's name figured in the fresh list of 15 candidates released by the SP on Wednesday.
