Sand aritst Sudarsan Pattnaik pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar through his sand art

Mangeshkar started her singing career in the early 1940s at the age of 13. In a career spanning over seven decades, she recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and sung songs in over thirty-six regional Indian languages and foreign languages.

The artist created a sand sculpture of the late singer at Puri beach with a message that read: "Meri Awaaz hi Pehechan hai.. Tributes to Nightingale of India #LataMangeshkar through my sand art at Puri beach in Odisha. Om Shanti (sic).”
