SC orders reinstatement of judicial officer who had resigned alleging sexual harassment by HC judge

In a letter sent to the chief justice of India, she had alleged that the transfer order had been issued as she had rejected the advances made by then sitting judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice SK Gangele, according to Bar and Bench.

She had also filed a sexual harassment complaint against Gangele. In December 2017, a three-member committee set up by the Rajya Sabha to look into allegations against Gangele had cleared him of the charges of sexual harassment.
