School starts for 1 million NYC kids amid new vaccine rules but many still wary of COVID-19

Classroom doors swing open for about a million New York City public school students on Monday in the nation's largest experiment of in-person learning during the coronavirus pandemic.

"Our kids need to be in school and it's unbelievable that some kids haven't seen the inside of a classroom for a year and a half," the Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday.
