Scientists find new evidence for habitability in Enceladus

As new evidence for a crucial component of life has been found in the subsurface water of Saturn's moon Enceladus, the quest for extraterrestrial life has become more intriguing. The study was published in a research paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

According to new modelling, a vital element of life, dissolved phosphorus, ought to be present in relatively high concentrations in the Enceladus ocean.
