Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the historical city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan to attend the 22nd edition of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit that begins today, September 15.
He will be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday and is likely to hold talks with the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Iran on the sidelines of the forum, said reports.
