Section 144 in Mumbai as Covid cases spike

Section 144 has been imposed in Mumbai starting from today (Thursday, December 30) till January 7, 2022, in view of rising Covid-19 cases. New Year's celebrations, parties in any closed or open space including restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, resorts and clubs have been prohibited from December 30 till January 7.

Delhi is likely to impose stricter rules even as the Covid-19 positivity rate in the city.
