Single-dose Sputnik Light vaccine set for launch in September, likely to be priced at Rs 750

India’s vaccination drive against Covid-19 is set to get a major boost with the launch of locally manufactured Sputnik Light in September. Sputnik Light is a single-dose vaccine. Panacea Biotec has submitted an application seeking emergency use authorisation from the country’s drug regulator DGCI, according to a report in the Times of India.

The report said that Sputnik Light will be available in limited quantities initially.
