Supreme Court dismisses plea to defer GATE 2022

The Supreme Court, on Thursday, February 3, dismissed petitions seeking postponement of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ( GATE 2022 ). The plea was filed by 11 candidates.
Justice DY Chandrachud said the exams are a policy matter on the part of the government, and any interference by the court at this stage would only lead to “chaos and uncertainty” among students, reports Hindustan Times.
