Take urgent action against power plant pollution: Gadkari to Mahagenco

Union minister Nitin Gadkari has directed state-owned power generation company Mahagenco to take immediate action against pollution being caused by Khaparkheda and Koradi power plants.
The move comes three days after a team of officials from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) conducted a spot inspection at impacted villages on the periphery of these plants.
