That claim is the basis of the 20-20-20 morning routine developed by leadership expert Robin Sharma, who suggests we all start our day with 20 minutes of movement, 20 minutes of reflection and 20 minutes of learning.
Spend your first 20 minutes in intense exercise – sweating releases BDNF, a brain chemical that actually grows neural connections. Working out also releases dopamine and serotonin, which makes you feel happy. The next 20 mins go to contemplation.
