Central Pacific Ocean’s independent island nation, Kiribati, just recorded its first case of COVID-19, joining the vast majority of the world’s countries that have been affected by the virus. There are countries that have managed to stay away from the pandemic, reporting zero cases, and remained largely untouched by the virus, according to World Health Organisation.
