The 212-room hotel draws its design inspiration from the architecture of the Hoysala empire-a Kannadiga power that ruled Karnataka between the 10th and 14th centuries.

With gold-washed pillars, pops of colour, an intricately detailed facade and a signature scent of sandalwood, the hotel combines the traditional with the modern to create an elegant palatial space. Even the lobby bar, an alfresco space named 1026 AD, pays homage to the Hoysala Empire and features a selection of speciality coffees, including Vietnamese, Turkish, Chemex and vacuum coffee.
