Three days after tremors, mock earthquake drill in Delhi

A multi-state mock exercise to assess the preparedness of emergency services in the capital was conducted by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA). Conducted in the wake of strong tremors jolting parts of North India three days ago, the exercise involved Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, with all 11 districts of the city participating in it to test and improve preparedness in the event of an earthquake.
