Total Solar Eclipse to Super New Moon: Dec 4 lined up with celestial events for stargazers

Two celestial events are set to dominate through the weekend: a Total Solar Eclipse and a Super New Moon. While the Total Solar Eclipse will occur on December 4, the Super new moon will take shape from December 3.
The partial eclipse will be visible in parts of South Australia, South Africa, South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.
