Tourists visiting Nainital and Almora woke up to their dream New Year holiday as the towns received this season's first snowfall early on Wednesday morning. Several people gathered on the streets in both towns to see snowflakes falling to the ground.
A tourist, Neha Aggarwal, who came to Almora from Delhi, said, "We didn't expect to witness snowfall but it has surely made our trip even more memorable."
