QIBBOT, remotely operated boxing robots created by the Qibo Robot Company in China, can respond to a person's movements in as little as one-hundredth of a second. The robots needed to surpass previous latency limitations. The team achieved this by optimizing the robot's mechanical structure and using software to anticipate and counteract latency, meeting the requirement of humans' sensitivity to delays of 10-20 milliseconds.
