UP to get ‘herbal roads’ with medicinal plants planted on roadsides

Uttar Pradesh is all set to get herbal roads soon! Reportedly, trees that are of medicinal value, along with those that are used in Ayurvedic medicine, such as sheesham, amla, and neem will be planted on the sides of roads in Agra.
The state government plans to develop 800 km of roads as a ‘herbal belt’ to prevent land erosion.
