US Stocks tumble on rate hike worries

The US stocks tumbled on Wednesday, 05 January 2022, with the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 all settling notably below the unchanged line, as investors reacted negatively to the minutes of the latest Federal Reserve meeting, focusing on more hawkish removal of monetary stimulus than had feared.
At the close of trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average index tumbled 392.54 points, or 1.07%, to 36,407.11.
