Uttarakhand: COVID-19 test mandatory for people coming from other states

The Uttarakhand government has announced that people travelling from other states will have to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test, amid concerns about the new Covid variant Omicron.

The health department has given instructions to check the passengers coming from outside states on the borders and to conduct the COVID test. The Health Secretary has also given instructions to form monitoring teams at the district level for proper prevention.
