Venom: Let There Be Carnage hits rare pandemic box office milestone

After multiple release date changes, Sony Pictures’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage hit theatres on October 1 in the US. Unlike some other companies, Sony Pictures chose against releasing its hit Marvel movie on digital platforms.

The sequel to the 2018 Venom movie has exceeded $200 million in the domestic box office, reaching the pandemic milestone only previously achieved by Disney’s Shang-Chi.
