On January 18, during IPL 2021 auction in Chennai, IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel announced brand Vivo as IPL's title sponsor for the 2021 edition. According to media reports, Dream11 bagged the rights for Rs 222 crore, beating Byju's and Unacademy, who bid around Rs 210 crore and Rs 150 crore, respectively.
