Why does an ancient Geo-heritage place get Rs. 369 cr approved by the MH Gov. under CM Eknath Shinde?

Maharashtra cabinet under CM Shri Eknath Shinde in 2022 approved a ₹369.78 crore development plan for the Lonar crater-lake, a notified national geo-heritage monument situated in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. Previously, Maharashtra CM Shri Uddhav Thackeray sanctioned 12 conservation reserves and 3 wildlife sanctuaries in this region. 2022 is not the first, previously, in 2011 Maharashtra government had sanctioned Rs 10 crore for conserving and protecting Lonar lake. Why?
