Why this Odisha village wants to merge with Chhattisgarh?

Residents of Jamilipada under Chandahandi block in Nabarangpur district have returned their ration cards to their sarpanch. They want to merge with neighbouring Chhattisgarh as they are deprived of basic amenities from the government of Odisha. Residents alleged that politicians and elected representatives are only visible during elections with tall promises. But all their promises turn into pretention after the polls.
