Year-long traffic diversions in Chennai from today due to metro work

The Greater Chennai Traffic Police (GCTP) announced traffic diversions in the city due to the ongoing work being carried out in Phase II by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL). The construction work is being carried out on the Arcot Road x 80 Feet Road junction.
The traffic diversions in parts of Chennai for a year, effective from September 14 (Tuesday). There are many diversions been created in the city to avoid traffic.
